Bobi Jones

Cyfweliad â Bobi Jones, yn Saesneg gan y bardd Robert Minhinnick. Mae’r holl beth yn werth ei ddarllen, ond dyma ddau baragraff am y profiad o ddysgu Cymraeg:

I sometimes think that the full blast of simply regaining and restoring the language is as valuable and as inspiring as the language itself. First language Welsh people miss a lot, despite their many advantages. The full discovery can be breathtaking.

Getting hold of the language itself, now that in itself is a positive transforming task. Our own just heritage opens out, the country itself becomes more complete, old suppressed wounds are healed, new wonders and relationships are uncovered, and a more sensitive comprehension of internationalism in a more complete and enriching world is opened up. Apart from gaining a unique and vitally creative culture, learning the language is an honour and a revelation, particularly when done in its full context and taught in a well-graded course (not presented on the basis of ‘functional’ fads or show-biz patterns), but founded in a well-disciplined manner within the necessary sequential structures of the language. The language is a great world for everyone. Its essence and existence explain so much.

Llawer mwy o stwff diddorol yn y rhifyn arbennig Cymreig o’r cylchgrawn Transciprt.

  1. Ac mae dy sylw di wedi f’atgoffa i am yr erthygl wych yma.

Hefyd, o’n i’n arfer cael sbamwyr o safon uchel iawn fan hyn. Robert Johnson, myn uffarch i! (Dyna beth sy’n digwydd i bobl sy’n gwerthu eu henaid i’r diawl, wrth gwrs; maent yn treulio tragwyddoldeb fel sbamwyr.)
